Gray Zipper

Gray Zipper - Vivian and Violet

Rainy days call for soft jumpers. This gray zipper jumper with a mock neck hit the spot this gloomy day in San Francisco. This is the kind of weather they call winter around here and coming from growing up in the midwest I can’t say I hate it!

The zippers on this jumper make for great subtle detail, along with the mock neck.  I always love a piece of clothing having “not so in your face details” that still make a statement.

Workout Wear

Fashion Friday - Workout Wear

Happy Fashion Friday!!! This week I’m bringing you some workout wear. The holidays are right around the corner. I’m sure going to the gym could be the last thing on your mind, but I always love having it in my schedule to ease the stress of the craziness that that can surround us. It’s great me time. One awesome way to motivate yourself to be active is to have some cute workout clothes to sport!

Varisty Jacket Fabletics // Tank Top Fabletics // Sport Bra Fabeltics // Leggings Pink Victoria’s Secret // Trainers New Balance

Here is an outfit I put together for the cooler temperatures outside this time of year. This tank has awesome open detail in the back. It is a great option if your looking to stay cool, but don’t want to just wear a sports bra. The Varisty Jacket is a great way to look sporty while staying warm going to and from your workout. What girl doesn’t love a great pair of leggings. These leggings have just a little pop of color on the waist band to make them not so plain. What is your favorite type of workout? Have a go to outfit you feel your best in comment below!

Also if your a busy gal like me and like to have intense compact workouts, check out Body Rock!!! These workouts are the greatest and will whip you into shape in no time. It’s also an awesome website for recipes and motivation. Check them out!

Misty

Misty- Vivian and Violet Happy Fashion Friday loves! This post comes from a misty day I got to spend staring at the Golden Gate Bridge. It was glorious. Since the bay breeze was in full force I discovered I have quite a small head. You would think I would know this by now! I almost lost this hat, but it was so worth it.

After the visit to the bridge, I made my way over the Fisherman’s Wharf neighborhood to enjoy some fish and chips. I absolutely love this hat. Forever 21 always has great accessories if your looking for something reasonable and fashion forward.

City Stripes

City Stripes

Happy Fashion Friday! It’s only been a week since I moved west to the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m already loving it. The weather is glorious and the city is fantastic! There is so much to explore and I can’t wait to see what I come across to share with you guys. Since living out of a suitcase seems to be what I will be doing for a while, this post I kept it causal in what I like to call city stripes.

While exploring China Town in San Francisco with my hubby, we were able to eat some tasty food and enjoy the busy streets. This light weight striped shirt was perfect for the sun and many shadows of the city. I love the switch in color on the sleeves. It gives what could be a very plain shirt, a little more dimension.

Stripes are a classic. I find either women love them or they steer clear of them. What do you think? Do you love them or hate them?

Sweater Weather

Sweater Weather

Happy Fashion Friday! The first day of October has come and gone. It’s getting chillier outside. Mother Nature is now telling us it’s sweater weather! I absolutely love a great cozy sweater. Here is a look I love to wear and stay warm with when the temperature starts to drop outside.

The shorter sleeves on this sweater style allow you to rock an awesome arm party. You could also layer a button up flannel underneath to stay even warmer. Do you love sweater weather? Are you excited to start breaking out your cooler weather clothes?
