If you follow me on Instagram (@vivianandviolet) you probably have seen that we are expecting! My husband and I are overjoyed along with feeling super blessed. We can’t wait to meet our little one but for now, I’m just learning how to dress this new changing body (I’m currently 17 weeks!!). My pants don’t fit me anymore so belly bands to the rescue!

One thing that has helped me still feel put together are sundresses and I’m super happy they are always a staple during the summer. Add a little denim, a strappy sandal and you are golden. Plus an ivory sundress is always a good idea in the hot sun.

I would love to hear from you if you’re a new mom or already one. Tell me all about it! I’m trying to soak it all in. Have a great day!!

It has been a while since I have posted, but I’m excited to be back bringing you some awesome content. To kick off my return I wanted to bring you something summery and super easy to throw on any day of the week. So here is my take on being put together and still super comfortable.

This past weekend I also had the pleasure of spending some time in the Misson in San Francisco. The weather was gorgeous and the Mexican food was to die for. This striped button down was perfect for the sun and the little bit of wind I had to contend with. I love the light and airiness about it. I have been living in these Levi 501

I have been living in these Levi 501 Skinnys since I purchased them a few months back. They are definitely my favorite now that I have broken them in. If you are on the hunt for jeans that have that vintage look but don’t want to pay the ridiculous price some of them are, I would recommend checking these out!

Have a great week!

Cozy, oversized, chunky are all the words I love to describe my favorite sweaters. You can pair them with everything from skinny jeans to over a long maxi cinched at the waist with a belt. They are a main stapled of mine for the cooler months.

You can never go wrong with a vintage sweater such as this Abercrombie (circa 2000) I stole from my hubby or a brand new one. They can easily be transitioned into the warmer months with your cut offs as well. I paired my chunky knit with ripped skinnys and patent leather booties.

Stay warm in your cozy sweaters and safe this holiday season!

There is nothing I love more than a fun, textured boot that gives your typical all denim look an added personality. Free People always brings top notch character out in each piece they have. This bootie is nothing short of amazing. It is unbelievably comfortable and has the cutest snaps that you can leave buttoned up or loose to show a little bit of skin. They would also pair great with cozy socks peeking now that the temps are dropping. You can bet I will be rocking these boots all year from cozy sweaters and denim to short shorts and skirts in the summer time.

Living in Northern California has been an incredible experience to say the least. One of my favorite things about it is being able to hop in the car for an hour and enjoy wine country. The views are amazing. The wine is phenomenal. You also can’t beat the weather. Each vineyard has its own story. If you love your wine or just amazing views, I tell you a visit here is truly a must.
