Happy December! The oversized blazer trend is in full force right now. You can totally go out and buy a blazer-inspired dress like this one from Nasty Gal that is super cute or you can turn one of the blazers you already own into the ultimate dress.

If you have been following me for a little while you know I love a good oversized blazer (check out this post for the perfect basic black blazer) and one of the reasons why I love them so much is that they are so versatile. I feel like you really get your money’s worth by wearing it different ways.  Like turning it into a dress!

To get this look all I did was wrap this glen plaid blazer around me without using the buttons and then I added my favorite western belt. I paired it with comfortable leggings and over the knee boots to give it that girl boss feel. This could be a great option for your next holiday party or taking your daytime workwear to night seamlessly.

Summer always makes me think of sundresses and whats better then adding in some floral prints. This brings me to my summer flowers obsession. Sundresses can make anyone feel feminine and beautiful. I probably don’t wear them as much as my husband would like, but today i’m bringing you a layering option when the weather is in-between. I feel layering is key here in the bay area. In the morning its cooler, by the mid afternoon the sun can be beating down and at 5 o’clock you probably need a jacket. I paired my favorite sundress with a loose hoodie and jean jacket. Keeping in the summer weather, I added in my favorite sandal slides. How are you wearing your sundresses this summer?

P.S. How incredible are these murals! The Mission in San Francisco is full of them. If your in the area be sure to check them out along with the fabulous Mexican food.
