City Stripes

City Stripes

Happy Fashion Friday! It’s only been a week since I moved west to the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m already loving it. The weather is glorious and the city is fantastic! There is so much to explore and I can’t wait to see what I come across to share with you guys. Since living out of a suitcase seems to be what I will be doing for a while, this post I kept it causal in what I like to call city stripes.

While exploring China Town in San Francisco with my hubby, we were able to eat some tasty food and enjoy the busy streets. This light weight striped shirt was perfect for the sun and many shadows of the city. I love the switch in color on the sleeves. It gives what could be a very plain shirt, a little more dimension.

Stripes are a classic. I find either women love them or they steer clear of them. What do you think? Do you love them or hate them?

Happy Inspiration Tuesday all! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week! After taking a week off of posting I am back and ready to bring some encouragement your way. I recently moved across the country. It was a long trip from Ohio to California, but I am so excited for our new adventure! We moved more sudden then we expected. This quote has been just what the doctor ordered. Have you ever had things happening that are good, but there is no set plan? You just have to trust that it will all work out. Telling yourself to not waste energy on things you have no control over, but to trust in the plans God has for you. I hope this helps you in anything that may be challenging you this week! Have a fantastic rest of the week!

Sweater Weather

Sweater Weather

Happy Fashion Friday! The first day of October has come and gone. It’s getting chillier outside. Mother Nature is now telling us it’s sweater weather! I absolutely love a great cozy sweater. Here is a look I love to wear and stay warm with when the temperature starts to drop outside.

The shorter sleeves on this sweater style allow you to rock an awesome arm party. You could also layer a button up flannel underneath to stay even warmer. Do you love sweater weather? Are you excited to start breaking out your cooler weather clothes?
