Mother’s Day is approaching quickly and being a first-time mom myself I feel like this year it’s more special than ever. To me, it’s not special because I expect gifts (don’t get me wrong I love great gifts), but it’s special because I feel like I appreciate all the amazing women in my life even more after having my own child. Being a mom is such a joy and I fully understand that even more now. Living halfway across the country from my mom/mother-in-law/grandmothers isn’t ideal (thank goodness for facetime) but I’m excited to celebrate with my hubby and little girl this year.
